CR 250 - Introduction to Corrections Credit Hours: 3
This course is designed to study the history of corrections in the world. The history of correction from 2000 BC to the present will be covered. This course will cover the following areas: the American system of corrections (including prisons); penitentiary; jails; probation; parole; juvenile justice; and alternate punishment concept/usages. Prerequisites: CR 150, CR 160 or permission of instructor. F/S (C, N, S)
