PE 289 - Lifeguarding

Credit Hours: 1

Course designed to teach basic and advanced rescue and water safety. Emphasis will be placed on the lifeguarding, first aid, CPR/AED skills, and knowledge to save one’s life or that of others in an emergency. Successful completion of this course may lead to American Red Cross certification.
Prerequisites: 15 years old; excellent swimming skills; pass 300 yd. swim test at first session.
