EG 020 - EMT-Recertification

This couse is a co-requisite with EG 003 and EG 004. A minimum of 33 hours of instruction in basic EMT topics and techniques. The student will complete a practical examination and sit for the New York State EMT certification to gain New York State certification for an additional three-year period.

Course Outcomes
Successful completion creates eligibility for the NYS written exam. Successful completion of the NYS written exam will result in NYS Recertification as an EMT/P. This ECC paramedic refresher program has a near 100% success rate for students becoming eligible to take the NYS exam.
