ML 615 - Clinical Analysis I

An introduction to clinical chemistry. Discussion of laboratory chemicals, methods of water purification, laboratory concentration units and calculations, collection and handling of blood specimens, variation in laboratory results, quality control and reference ranges.
Prerequisites: High school chemistry and Algebra (or equivalent) Pretest M20;
Concurrent registration in CH 310, or CH 250, and ML 616, or permission of instructor.
