Architecture as it developed, its growth, periods and styles.

Course Outcomes
Upon completion of this course the student should be able to:

understand the relationships of the various architectural styles;
understand and recognize the primary design elements of each style and their use in architecture;
interpret and relate the various styles and Architectural periods;
identify and properly use terms and vocabulary relating to the history of architecture;
research local architecture and prepare an evaluation of a selected site;
research and present a local project; and
use reference materials.
