AR 270 - Architectural Detailing/Lab Credit Hours: 3
The planning for, selection of and the correlating of proprietary products and systems into solving details for architectural working drawings.
Course Outcomes Upon completion of this course the student should be able to:
- demonstrate and employ detailing skills, modifying/combining proprietary products to a particular commercial project;
- produce working drawings for a commercial project;
- research, select and interpret reference materials necessary for proper design applications;
- understand cross-referencing of details;
- read, interpret and apply the necessary applicable building codes; and
- demonstrate and employ basic CAD drafting techniques.
Prerequisites: AR 230, AR 240, AR 250 Corequisites: AR 260, AR 275 S (S)
