BU 240 - Principles of Management Credit Hours: 3
A study of management processes including supervision, operational control, labor relations and personnel selection. Coordinating, motivating and controlling techniques, as well as decision making functions will be studied.
Course Outcomes Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to define management, understand the eight managerial functions, conceptualize the management process, identify organizing strategies, and grasp the role of management in the global economy.
Prerequisites: BU 140 or permission of the instructor. F/S (C, N, S)
