Course Outcomes
At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:
- list physical properties of various dental materials;
- describe uses of gypsum products;
- identify uses for alloys;
- illustrate properties and uses of resins;
- distinguish between karat and fineness of precious metals;
- describe the uses of porcelain in dentistry;
- operate various dental laboratory machinery; and
- identify physical properties and use of dental waxes.
