SO 100 - Introduction to Sociology Credit Hours: 3
An introductory course in the concepts of sociology; a study of social interaction, social organization and processes which are common to group and institutional life.
Fulfills SUNY General Education – Social Sciences.
Course Outcomes Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- identify & logically analyze social problems;
- form reasoned judgments;
- understand Sociological terminology;
- understand social research methods;
- analyze data;
- interpret verbal material;
- propose a plan for an experiment;
