RA 204 - Lab/Clinical IV Credit Hours: 5
During this course, the student attends various clinical affiliates for a period of three (3) days per week for a total of five (5) clinical rotations per semester, where they undergo supervised clinical experiences.
Course Outcomes Upon completion of this course, the student will:
- demonstrate proficiency in performing treatment calculations;
- accurately simulate a patient for radiation;
- interpret, set-up and perform patient radiation treatments;
- identify changes and corrections between port films and simulation or DRR films;
- accurately position a patient for CT simulation and treatments; and
- present a comprehensive patient case study
Prerequisites: RA 203 Corequisites: RA 240 S (C)
Three (3) eight-hour days per week for 15 weeks.
