MA 120 - Medical Applications of Computers
Credit Hours: 1
A computer course for the health science professional designed to provide skill and understanding using software applications in the medical office. Computer laboratory instruction includes use of a commercial software package such as Microsoft Office (latest edition available) and its associated programs like Word (word processing), Excel (spreadsheet), PowerPoint (slide presentation), Windows Vista, and Internet Explorer. A medical research project using the Internet and various search engines is required.
Prerequisites: OF 111 or OF 135 or permission of the instructor.
