MT 007 - Elementary Algebra II

Credit Hours: 3 Not for degree credit

A second course in a two-semester sequence intended to prepare developmental students for degree mathematics courses. Topics include word problems, operations with rational expressions, graphing, systems of equations, quadratic equations, operations with radicals and basic calculator skills.
Prerequisites: MT 006 or appropriate college equivalent and/or appropriate mathematics level code.*
F/S (C, N, S)

*Level code is determined by Mathematics Department placement test and/or successful completion of math courses.

This course does not apply toward an associate’s degree and has been deactivated effective Summer 2012.
