Practical application of lecture topics related to the diagnosing and repair of the automotive braking system.

Course Outcomes
Upon completion of the course, the student should be able to:

- Identify the components that make up the automotive braking system.

- Diagnose, inspect, remove and replace, rebuild, clean, adjust, test, and repair automotive brake systems and components.

- Interpret manufacturer’s manuals and specifications.

- Demonstrate the use of special tools to machine brake components.

- Demonstrate the use of special tools to flare hydraulic brake line.
