Sports Through the Media is an introduction to sports communication as a career, an understanding of sports publishing, and how the Internet impacts new and emerging media and sports communication.

Course Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

list and define the five key areas of sports communication careers;
develop and present a sports publication; and
describe the impact online access has or will have on existing and emerging media communications.
