Practical application of lecture topics related to the diagnosing and repair of the automotive braking system.

Course Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

identify the components that make up the automotive braking system;
diagnose, inspect, remove and replace, rebuild, clean, adjust, test, and repair automotive brake systems and components;
interpret manufacturer’s manuals and specifications;
demonstrate the use of special tools to machine brake components; and
demonstrate the use of special tools to flare hydraulic brake lines.
