BM 270 - Project Management Credit Hours: 2
A course to organize, plan, and develop a facility’s daily operations. Students will develop a mission statement and objectives for maintenance functions. Software for planning activities for the maintenance of facilities will also be a major topic.
Course Outcomes Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- demonstrate a basic understanding of modern organizing and planning techniques, methods, and procedures;
- illustrate an awareness of how the maintenance manager can use these techniques to maximize the productivity of the staff and assets assigned to him/her; and
- apply and use written communication tools in organizing and planning methods to solve everyday problems of construction/facilities management.
