BU 221 - Computerized Accounting Credit Hours: 4
The purpose of this course is to teach the latest technology in computerized accounting that is currently being utilized by businesses. The basic elements of accounting will be used such as general ledger, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and invoicing.
Course Outcomes Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- blend the theory of accounting with the pragmatic advantages of the computer to maintain and interpret a high-quality set of books.
Prerequisites: BU 120 or BU 121 or permission of the instructor. F/S (C, N, S)
