CI 295 - Hydraulics & Hydrology Credit Hours: 4
A basic course in water supply and sewage treatment. Topics include: population forecasting, collection of storm water and sewage, distribution including storage and networks, and treatment sewage.
Course Outcomes Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- learn wastewater and water resource terminology, testing, and design used in engineering;
- understand the factors affecting fluid flows in pipes and open channels; and
- understand pump classification and examine the factors required to choose the proper pump for a particular application.
