CO 120 - Architectural Blueprint Reading

Credit Hours: 3

A basic course in the reading of architectural blueprints for residential and commercial buildings, as well as basic sketching techniques for graphic presentation of ideas and problems.

Course Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

understand the basic principles and language of visual communication of contract documents;
ability to understand the project manual and how specifications are organized; and
learn the fundamentals of how drawings and technical specifications are interrelated.
