CO 265 - Construction Management Credit Hours: 3
Planning, scheduling, controlling, and analyzing the progress of a project or a particular operation. Items included are long-range and short-range scheduling, materials management, proper policing of an accepted schedule, treating shortages, recognizing real problems, job organization, and the importance and value of meeting schedules and cost estimates.
Course Outcomes Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- plan, schedule, and analyze the progress of a construction building project;
- make necessary changes to long and short-term planning and scheduling of a job site and understand the interconnection between scope, cost, and schedule; and
- understand the documentation process for Contract Administration and Project Closeout
