Introduction to binary numbers, logic functions, Boolean algebra, logic circuits applications, flip-flops, registers, counters, and arithmetic circuits.

Course Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

introduce the basic characteristics of digital functions and the digital circuits that perform those functions; and
to review and analyze the purpose of and the interrelation between the basic digital functions that are commonly used in most current digital computers and other popular digital applications.
