CP 120 - Logic I


Credit Hours: 3

Introduction to binary numbers, logic functions, Boolean algebra, logic circuits applications, flip-flops, registers, counters, and arithmetic circuits.

Course Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  1. introduce the basic characteristics of digital functions and the digital circuits that perform those functions; and
  2. to review and analyze the purpose of and the interrelation between the basic digital functions that are commonly used in most current digital computers and other popular digital applications.
