Experiments and demonstrations on the characteristics, protocol, and operation of data communications systems and networks.

Course Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

demonstrate a basic understanding of data communication systems;
demonstrate a basic understanding of various networks;
demonstrate a basic understanding of telephone systems; and
demonstrate a basic understanding of system hardware.
