DF 106 - Technical Graphics I w/AutoCAD

The purpose of this course is to provide students with an understanding of the importance of engineering graphic communication to the design process. Students will gain hands-on experience creating freehand sketches and technical drawings using orthographic projections, sections, auxiliary views, and isometric drawings. The course presents logical, well-tested, step-by-step instructions while also learning how to use AutoCAD software.

Course Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

identify, lay out, and complete various technical drawings according to industrial standards using AutoCAD software.
