DF 222 - 3-D Auto CAD


Credit Hours: 2

This required course is designed to develop proficiency in working with AutoCAD’s three-dimensional capabilities. The focus will be on developing wireframe surface and sound models, and then presenting them as shaded on rendered images. The students will also produce axonometric and perspective views.

Course Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  1. set up a 3D CAD drawing;
  2. create a wireframe model;
  3. create a solid model; and
  4. produce a presentation drawing according to industrial standards using AutoCAD commands.
