PB 205 - Police Administration of Justice Credit Hours: 4
Police and the Administration of Justice will provide the student with a comprehensive examination of the criminal justice system from the point of law enforcement. Components of the system to be examined will include the police, courts, and corrections. Emphasis will be placed on the law enforcement role and the administrative responsibilities of each.
Course Outcomes Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- identify the three major components of the criminal justice system;
- identify the seven major goals of the criminal justice system;
- identify the five primary goals of the law enforcement component;
- identify the four primary goals of the judicial component; and
- identify the four primary goals of the corrections component.
