CT 270 - Unibody / Frame Repair

Credit Hours: 6

This lecture/lab course will involve the processes and methods of unibody and frame straightening. Topics will include the use of measuring and pulling/straightening equipment, vehicle anchoring, and repair/replacement of structural parts.

Course Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

explain the theory of pulling and straightening vehicle damage;
properly measure a damaged vehicle using different methods;
properly maintain and use unibody and frame-pulling equipment;
perform repairs as per OEM recommendations and specifications; and
repair and/or replace structural parts.
