MH 208 - Industrial PLC Integration Credit Hours: 4
This course will provide a thorough hands-on experience in using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) for manufacturing automation and system integration.
Students will study various advanced PLC instructions, PLC motor control, PLC event sequencing, multi-actuator sequencing and mode control, HMI operation, and component and system troubleshooting.
Course Outcomes Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Examine advanced PLC instructions.
- Describe event sequencing for the PLC in an automated system.
- Perform component and system troubleshooting with the PLC automated system.
- Design PLC projects with technical reports and presentations.
