HI 260 - History of American Women Credit Hours: 3
This course is a social history of the role of women in America from the colonial times to the present. Focus will be on women at work, with their families, and in public life. An attempt will be made to include all women but time constraints will limit both the breadth and depth of the study. Reading and writing skills are essential for this course. Students will gain a basic understanding of American history. F/S (C, S)
