The Erie Community College Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization established to support Erie Community College and provide services and activities to all its alumni. The Foundation’s purpose is to raise, receive and administer all private gifts and program services intended for the college, its programs and its students.
The Erie Community College Foundation Board of Directors is comprised of community and business leaders who volunteer their time and resources to assist the college in achieving this goal. The ECC Foundation believes that assisting today’s students will ensure the success of tomorrow’s leaders.
The ECC Foundation organizes various functions and fundraisers such as Celebrate ECC, Scholarship Awards Luncheon and the Annual Golf Classic. Proceeds benefit ECC student scholarships, college support and other Foundation programs. The alumni functions include organizing reunions, the distinguished honoree program, homecoming and other activities that reach out to alumni and the community at large.
The ECC Foundation Office works in conjunction with the Financial Aid Office and welcomes scholarship inquiries throughout the year. Scholarship applications are available mid-October at the Financial Aid and Admissions Offices, and on the Foundations Web site. The deadline to submit an application for the 2012-2013 academic year is Friday, February 3. For further information on scholarships, visit the ECC Foundation at the City Campus, room 110 or call (716) 851-1990.
