GC 252 - Motion Graphics


Credit Hours: 3

Learn the history and principles of motion graphics. Create interactive presentations utilizing contemporary industry software, incorporating animation, sound, still and moving images. Explore and integrate interactive designs through development of projects. Working knowledge of raster and vector images recommended. 

Course Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

 

  1. utilize industry standard software and other forms of multimedia to create an engaging interface design;
  2. analyze software and other forms of multimedia for which is best for content interactivity;
  3. demonstrate how motion graphics history has influenced current software technology;
  4. compare and contrast interactive websites;
  5. understand and demonstrate principles of interactive design with various social/multimedia;
  6. identify and utilize multimedia elements in interactive design.
