PE 224 - Weight Training II


Credit Hours: 1

A class emphasizing the development of an individualized weight training program.  Students will engage in various strength and endurance training activities while learning about the importance of muscular fitness for a healthy lifestyle. 

Course Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • identify major muscle groups and their function;
  • demonstrate the proper techniques of weight training; and
  • exhibit measured improvements in muscular strength and endurance.
